Bistem Heritage School started in 2016 with a pre-school to cater for early childhood out of my immense love for children and passion for imparting knowledge.Quality education is the best gift you can ever give your child; it is not just your child’s right but also a smart investment for the future. At Bistem Heritage School, we teach our pupils to become confident, independent and creative individuals by exposing them to the best opportunities that will prepare them for any future challenge. At Bistem Heritage School, we do not only give our students quality education, but we also train them to be morally upright.
The fact is, no matter how good the teacher, how small the class, how focused on quality education the school maybe none of this matters if we ignore the individual needs of our pupils.Our staffs are trained to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of every student and help them to build on the strengths and work on their weakness. A wise man once said if you think education is too costly try ignorance. The cost of ignorance is too high, the damage it does is too risky to bear, therefore it is wise to invest in education.
Bistem Heritage school welcomes children of all cultures, religion and background between the ages of 6months and 10years. Through our well planned and resource curriculum we provide children with opportunities for learning which prepare them for school and life.
Bistem Heritage Pre-school teaches the children to think and use their talent and recognize their self-worth. We lay emphasis on learning by observation, interaction and direct guidance. We put this together with various learning concepts such as colours, shapes, numbers, alphabets and phonetics. The main thrust in the curriculum at this age is “learning is fun”
Our curriculum guidelines for Bistem Heritage primary ensures that student will get a truly well-rounded education through higher order thinking skills, as well as effective problem solving.
Our children get more than a strong foundation in academic learning. They also develop positive self-esteem and overall sense of wellbeing.
We pay special attention to Mathematics and Phonetics among others. The curriculum is also expandable, meaning that students who need extra help receive it while students with the ability and interest to handle more challenging materials have the opportunity to explore subjects in depth. We regularly monitor each child’s progress against our curriculum goals.
